Helsinki, Finland is heading to Berlin, Germany. It's something we like to call HELSINKI IN BERLIN!
The Helsinki In Berlin festival was established in Spring 2008 as a way to present some of the freshest new talent to the German audience and music business. Around fifty Finnish artists descended upon the city to perform throughout the capitol for a week of well-attended and well publicized shows. When the event returned as part of Popkomm later that year, it became obvious that this relationship between the German audience and Finnish music was here to stay.
Now, as Popkomm rests, Helsinki In Berlin is filling some of the gap with a couple of high quality showcases featuring six of the hottest Finnish artists of the year. YEAH!
